Kerry McVey, L.Ac., LMT

Kerry’s extensive training and education enable her to diagnose and treat ailments from multiple perspectives. She uses a combination of acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and bodywork, as well as lifestyle and nutrition counseling to educate patients so they can make informed choices in their daily lives.

Kerry specializes in cosmetic facial acupuncture and is an assistant teacher for the Academy of Advanced Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture. She applies these skills to treat ailments of the face and neck such as TMJ, trigeminal neuralgia, migraines, neck pain, and Bell’s Palsy. Kerry also has a great deal of experience with women’s health and fertility, pediatrics, allergies, insomnia, and psycho-emotional difficulties such as anxiety and depression.

Kerry’s education and certifications include:
- Diplomate of Acupuncture, National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)
- Certified Reiki Master practitioner
- Master of Science degree in Acupuncture, Pacific College of Oriental Medicine
- Associates degree in Applied Sciences, Swedish Institute of Health Sciences
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Hispanic and Latin - American Literature and Culture, New York University

Prior to joining Natural Healthcare Center, Kerry owned and operated a private acupuncture practice in lower Manhattan. With keen observation skills and careful listening, Kerry has been able to help her patients achieve great results.

On Saturday, March 21, 2020 New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy held a press conference in which additional measures were enacted to curtail the spread of Covid-19 and issued Executive Order 108. This Order states in part that “any health facilities that provide medically necessary or therapeutic services” can remain open. The Order further states “Nothing in this Order shall be construed to limit, prohibit or restrict in any way the provision of health care or medical services to members of the public.”

We are continuing to take all precautions to ensure that our patients and staff stay safe during this unprecedented time:

We are staggering our appointment times to promote social distancing.
All rooms and equipment will be disinfected and cleaned with medical grade disinfectant immediately before and after each patient encounter.
Our clinicians will wear gloves for your treatment upon request.

We ask that if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms, including a cough or fever, or have recently traveled to an area affected by the coronavirus, that you do not come in for your appointment but rather call us to reschedule.

If you do have a fever or other flu-like symptoms, or have possibly been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with coronavirus, please self-quarantine and contact your primary care doctor as soon as possible.
