Robert Ziemanis decided to become a licensed acupuncturist because he felt conventional medicine wasn’t doing enough to address chronic, degenerative conditions. He graduated from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine and earned his Diplomate in Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He also earned his bachelor’s degree from Monmouth University.
Robert is a certified instructor of Shakuju Therapy, a method for promoting deep healing that doesn’t require the insertion of needles. Educated by the creator of this technique at the Shakuju Association in Tokyo, Japan, Robert has taught courses in Shakuju Therapy in Berkeley, CA and is one of a handful of certified Shakuju instructors in the United States. He has found great success treating chronic conditions such as digestive disorders and autoimmune diseases with Shakuju Therapy, especially when combined with clinical nutrition and lifestyle counseling.
