What Is Operations Excellence?

Operations Excellence is a comprehensive practice management system created by Natural Healthcare Center Founder and Clinical Director Dr. James Proodian and three MBAs. The primary goals are to maximize efficiency and productivity and ensure a patient-centered focus in all we do.

Every area of the practice functions according to specific guidelines to ensure Natural Healthcare Center runs like a well-oiled machine. Areas that need improvement are quickly identified and adjustments are made to restore and maintain optimal function.

Operations Excellence served as the management system for more than 20 practices in the tri-state area from 1999-2003 and has guided Natural Healthcare Center operations since we opened our doors in 2003.

What Does Operations Excellence Do?

Operation Excellence brings focus and clarity to the full Natural Healthcare Center ecosystem, resulting in defined roles and seamless orchestration across our highly trained team:

Clinical Team (doctors, therapists, nutritionists, etc.)
Non-Clinical Team (front-desk and back-office professionals, such as general manager, practice administrator, patient care coordinators, billing and collections, human resources, bookkeeping, etc.)

A Message For Our Patients

On Saturday, March 21, 2020 New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy held a press conference in which additional measures were enacted to curtail the spread of Covid-19 and issued Executive Order 108. This Order states in part that “any health facilities that provide medically necessary or therapeutic services” can remain open. The Order further states “Nothing in this Order shall be construed to limit, prohibit or restrict in any way the provision of health care or medical services to members of the public.”

We are continuing to take all precautions to ensure that our patients and staff stay safe during this unprecedented time:

We are staggering our appointment times to promote social distancing.
All rooms and equipment will be disinfected and cleaned with medical grade disinfectant immediately before and after each patient encounter.
Our clinicians will wear gloves for your treatment upon request.

We ask that if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms, including a cough or fever, or have recently traveled to an area affected by the coronavirus, that you do not come in for your appointment but rather call us to reschedule.

If you do have a fever or other flu-like symptoms, or have possibly been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with coronavirus, please self-quarantine and contact your primary care doctor as soon as possible.
