Jessica graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources. She then received her certification in massage and bodywork from the Gentle Healing School of Massage in Cranbury, NJ, where she graduated with honors. Jessica has a diverse background running her own massage therapy practice, working in spas, and collaborating with physical therapists and acupuncturists to customize sessions for the individual.
Jessica is certified in oncology massage for people recovering from or dealing with cancer treatment, as well as infant massage, pre-natal massage, Reiki I and II, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). She also specializes in Swedish massage, reflexology, hot stone massage, deep tissue massage and raindrop therapy.
A breast cancer survivor herself, Jessica provides massage therapy intended to stimulate weak and inactive muscles, which helps compensate for lack of exercise and inactivity caused by illness or injury. The list of conditions that can be helped through massage therapy is virtually infinite. Massage is used to treat stress-related tension, headaches and anxiety, muscle tension and spasms, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, sleep disorders, high blood pressure, diabetes, low back pain, depression, and cancer-related fatigue.
