Dr. Proodian earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University, where he minored in nutrition and completed the pre-medicine program. His post-graduate work includes a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) degree from the National College of Chiropractic in 1994 and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) degree from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2003.
Dr. Proodian is certified in the Cox Technic system of decompression spinal pain management. Many leading medical doctors in the fields of orthopedics, interventional pain management, and neurosurgery refer patients to Dr. Proodian for nonsurgical therapy in the treatment of spinal and extremity pain.
A dynamic, sought-after public speaker, Dr. Proodian offers health education programs to help local businesses and organizations improve the health and productivity of their employees and members and reduce health insurance costs. Since 2014, Dr. Proodian has served as Health Educator for CityWell, a free educational and clinical resource created to help employees of the City of Long Branch and their families lead healthier lives. He is also a regular contributor to the Asbury Park Press and blogs frequently about timely health issues and current events. In 2008 and 2017, Dr. Proodian was recognized by NJBIZ as a Healthcare Hero for his contributions to the quality of healthcare in New Jersey.
Dr. Proodian’s greatest passion and inspiration are his wife, Stacy, and five children.
