Dr. Claudia Tamas graduated cum laude from Kean University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2010. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Tamas worked as a physical therapy aide in several orthopedic and pediatric settings.Dr. Tamas received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014, graduating with Alpha Eta honors from Seton Hall University, where she also received the Award for Excellence in Research.
Dr. Tamas is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as recognized by The National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as a Certified Running Injuries Specialist as recognized by The Running Clinic. She is also certified as a Breathing Assessment Specialist by Medical Minds in Motion.
Dr. Tamas’ clinical training includes pediatric rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, and neurological rehabilitation for conditions such as acute and chronic stroke, vestibular conditions, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Areas of expertise includeorthopedic outpatient treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions involving the spine and lower extremities, such as running injuries. She also specializes in post-surgical rehabilitation, post-chemotherapy or radiation treatment reconditioning, return-to-sport rehabilitation, and pre- and post-partum conditioning.
